About Me  Me with my husband at Kings Wood, Challock Hello my name is Jill Batchelor. I'm very much an enthusiastic amateur who enjoys nothing more than getting out and trying to capture on camera the places I visit, whether they are local or further afield. Living where I do in Kent means I have easy access to many nature reserves and so my photography tends to be about visiting these places. I presently own a Nikon D80 and various lenses and particularly enjoy taking macro images. Often my days out are about trying to find willing macro subjects: wild flowers and butterflies are obvious starting points, but I very soon find much more. I am still learning something every time I use my camera and always think I can do better, which I guess is what makes me keep trying.
