Murder Mystery at Dalmunzie Castle

The Earl of Coddingham is caught.
In the album that accompanies this journal entry are some pictures taken during the evening before James and Olivia’s wedding. During this evening we dressed up and had fun doing a Murder Mystery evening. Certainly our surroundings at the castle helped set the scene as our characters played out the parts we had been given.

 

It was only a matter of time before George Sweet, the fifth Earl Of Coddingham (played by Nigel) was poisoned by a substance known as “Sugarloaf”. Our task then was to find out who we thought had done the evil deed. It really was an awful lot of fun and certainly gave us the chance to get to know all the other guests attending the wedding, some of whom had never met each other before.

Hopefully the few pictures I took during the evening captured just what fun it was. By the way, if you’re wondering why Nigel is dressed differently in the later pictures, he reappeared as his own son!
